Below are the results for each of the seven contested events in Madison:
Log Lift
In the Log Lift event, Stowers demonstrated her dominance with five reps at 95 kg. However, this performance set the tone for her overall victory. Meanwhile, Berva and Held tied for second place, each lifting two reps at 95 kg. Moreover, Retzer, struggling with the lift, managed just one rep, which ultimately impacted her chances of claiming the title.
In addition, on the other hand, in the Car Walk event, Lydia Wallace surprised everyone with a first-place finish in 17.87 seconds. Stowers, while not the fastest, held steady with a fifth-place finish at 34.21 seconds. Retzer, however, faltered and placed seventh, which diminished her hopes of catching up to Stowers for the lead.
In the Carry & Push Medley, Sabrina Retzer put in a remarkable performance with a time of 41.03 seconds. Moreover, this time was enough to secure her first place, just ahead of Claire Myler, who clocked in at 41.56 seconds. Furthermore, Stowers, however, couldn’t keep pace, covering only 31.29 meters, which placed her lower in the rankings for this event.
However, despite Stowers’ setback, Chelsea Held put up a valiant effort, finishing eighth in 58.88 seconds. Notably, Retzer’s quick time in the medley helped her stay competitive, but Stowers’ strong performances in other events kept her at the top overall. Therefore, Retzer’s medley win wasn’t enough to close the gap to the leader.
Nadia Stowers dominated the Deadlift event, completing 7 reps with 231 kg. Furthermore, this performance gave her a clear lead. Moreover, Claire Myler followed with 5 reps at 231 kg, securing second place. However, Sabrina Retzer and Josée De Lachevrotière both finished with 3 reps at 231 kg, tying for third. Meanwhile, Angéline Berva and Nichole Wight could only manage 2 reps each, placing them in fifth. Chelsea Held and Sarah Hallifax struggled, completing just 1 rep each.
However, Lydia Wallace lifted 197 kg, completing 3 reps. This was a solid effort, but still not enough to challenge the top competitors. However, despite this, Stowers’ performance in this event gave her a significant advantage. Lastly, it made it hard for the other athletes to catch up in the standings.
Sabrina Retzer led the Carry & Push Medley, finishing in 41.03 seconds. Moreover, Claire Myler followed closely with 41.56 seconds, staying competitive. Furthermore, Donna Mecoli finished third with 42.15 seconds, showing strong effort. However, Angéline Berva and Sarah Hallifax completed the event in 42.34 and 46.79 seconds. Meanwhile, Lydia Wallace and Josée De Lachevrotière finished in 49.13 and 49.81 seconds, respectively.
In addition, on the other hand, Nadia Stowers only covered 31.29 meters, which hurt her standing. Nichole Wight also had a disappointing performance, reaching just 15.24 meters. However, despite this, Retzer’s fast time helped her stay near the top. Lastly, her strength in this event gave her an edge over the competition.
Nadia Stowers dominated the Sandbag Toss with 6 bags in 31.18 seconds. Furthermore, this solid performance helped her maintain her lead. Moreover, Chelsea Held followed closely, tossing 5 bags in 24.1 seconds. Josée De Lachevrotière and Sabrina Retzer also completed 5 tosses, with times of 28.65 and 30.59 seconds. Angéline Berva finished with 5 tosses in 31.17 seconds.
However, Claire Myler completed 5 tosses in 33.47 seconds, while Lydia Wallace struggled with just 3 tosses in 16.27 seconds. Nichole Wight managed 3 tosses in 29.36 seconds. Donna Mecoli completed only 2 tosses in 31.44 seconds. Lastly, Stowers’ fast pace helped her stay at the top, making it hard for others to catch up.
Sabrina Retzer led the Wrecking Ball Hold with an impressive 138.45 seconds. Angéline Berva followed with 130.07 seconds, showing excellent endurance. Nadia Stowers finished with 118.25 seconds, securing third. Despite a strong effort, Stowers couldn’t match Retzer or Berva. Nichole Wight and Sarah Hallifax struggled, finishing with 86.53 and 85.4 seconds.
Donna Mecoli held the ball for 77.17 seconds, while Lydia Wallace managed only 71.61 seconds. Josée De Lachevrotière and Chelsea Held finished with 62.94 and 57.97 seconds. Claire Myler struggled the most, holding for just 38.77 seconds. Retzer’s endurance in this event kept her in the race for the top spot.
Finally, the Atlas Stones proved to be crucial in the final standings. Furthermore, Stowers dominated the event with six lifts in 40.56 seconds. Myler, while not far behind, finished second with the same number of lifts in 42.95 seconds. Lastly, Retzer also posted a strong showing, completing six lifts in 43.65 seconds, securing third place.
In contrast, Berva completed five lifts in 36.54 seconds, a solid performance, though not enough to clinch a higher position. Nevertheless, the Atlas Stones solidified Stowers’ dominance, as her combination of speed and strength led her to a well-earned victory. Therefore, her performance in the final event was the finishing touch on her triumphant return to the top of the rankings.
