2024 Rogue Strongwoman Invitational Event 6 Recap

When Moore withdrew before event six, Belliveau took the floor solo in the opening heat. Moreover, she moved quickly through the kettlebell and dumbbell. However, she struggled with the axle. Despite four attempts, she couldn’t lock it out before the clock ran out.

Next, Linzay and Thompson took the floor. Thompson stalled on the kettlebell, allowing Linzay to control the heat. She cleared every implement but the final axle. Still, the axle’s weight threw her backward, halting her just short of lockout.

In heat three, Roberts and Peacock squared off. Also, Peacock wrestled with the kettlebell, which ate up her time. Meanwhile, Roberts managed the kettlebell but opted out of attempting the dumbbell.

Then, Jardine and Underdown faced off in the penultimate heat. Notably, Underdown completed the kettlebell lift cleanly, but she dropped it too soon, losing precious time. However, Jardine moved smoothly to the axles, lifting the 235-pound bar with strength and control. Lastly, she became the first competitor to finish the event. Underdown, however, stalled at the first axle.

Finally, the last heat saw Liashchuck and Carrasquillo, who entered with a four-point lead. Known for her strong overhead press, Carrasquillo started confidently. Meanwhile, Liashchuck struggled with the kettlebell, which gave Carrasquillo an edge. She cleared the first axle, cementing her overall win. To finish with authority, Carrasquillo lifted every implement, solidifying her title. Lastly, Liashchuck’s efforts earned her the silver medal, completing the podium lineup.
