2024 Rogue Strongwoman Invitational Event 4 Official Results

Day two of the 2024 Rogue Strongwoman Invitational began with Inez Carrasquillo at the top of the leaderboard. She had already claimed victories in two of the first three events. Meanwhile, Olga Liashchuck and Angelica Jardine were close behind, each trailing by just four points after a solid first day of competition.

The fourth event, the Power Drive, was particularly challenging. Each strongwoman had to power drive a 600-pound implement for 20 feet. After that, they carried a Husafell bag up and down a 20-foot course. To conclude, they had to pull a sled 40 feet, all within a strict 90-second time cap.

Lucy Underdown stood out in the event, securing her second victory of the Invitational. She skillfully harmonized size and strength, finishing the course within the time limit. In fact, Underdown was one of only four strongwomen to complete the event within the 90-second cap.

2024 Rogue Strongwoman Invitational Power Drive Recap

Athletes competed in heats based on their standings at the end of day one. Furthermore, Belliveau and Moore kicked off the competition in the opening heat. Moreover, Belliveau quickly took the lead as Moore struggled with the first implement. Although Belliveau nearly finished within the time cap, Moore couldn’t reach the sled pull.

In addition, Peacock and Linzay followed in the second heat. Moreove, both powered through the drive and carried the Husafell bags with ease. However, Peacock, refusing to take a break, completed the sled pull ahead of Linzay, who fell short of finishing within the time cap.

Furthermore, Thompson and Roberts ran in heat three. They adjusted their pacing after watching the earlier athletes. Moreover, Roberts, with a strong power drive and steady Husafell carry, reached the sled pull first. Both finished within the time cap.

Underdown and Jardine raced in the next heat, quickly finishing the power drive in under 20 seconds. Lastly, they then jumped into the sled pull together, but Underdown’s superior cardio allowed her to set the new fastest time at 1:10.64.

Finally, Carrasquillo and Liashchuck took the stage in the last heat. Carrasquillo struggled with the power drive due to her size, taking 30 seconds to finish. However, she made up ground in the Husafell carry. Lastly, Liashchuck, finishing just ahead of Carrasquillo, closed the gap in the overall standings.
