The Yoke Escalator was the second-to-last event at the 2024 Rogue Strongman Invitational. Moreover, as expected, strongmen watched the strongwomen compete moments before stepping onto the field. Clearly, the event was about speed. Thus, those who could maintain both power and pace would have the advantage.
In addition, entering this event, Mitchell Hooper, the defending champion, led the overall standings. Furthermore, his performance in the first four events had been consistent. However, Hafthor Björnsson and Tom Stoltman were both close behind. With their determination, they aimed to close the gap and take the title for themselves.
Furthermore, for the Yoke Escalator, athletes first faced a 900-pound yoke walk. Following that, they moved onto three power stairs, each heavier than the last. Moreover, Hooper’s dominance on the yoke proved unmatched. Consequently, he secured the event win, making it nearly impossible for his competitors to catch him in the overall standings.
