The 2024 Rogue Strongman Invitational began at 11:00 a.m. GMT (6:00 a.m. EST) in Aberdeen, Scotland, with the Deadlift Ladder event. Furthermore, each of the 10 elite strongmen had three attempts to establish their maximum deadlift. Importantly, lifting suits were not allowed, making the challenge even tougher. 2024 Rogue Strongman Invitational Deadlift Ladder Recap

Luke Stoltman opened the event with an 800-pound lift, energizing the crowd. Furthermore, Pavlo Kordiyaka followed, matching it with confidence. Notably, Tristain Hoath lifted 820 pounds smoothly, and Thomas Evans did the same. Moreover, Stoltman returned for his second attempt, locking out 840 pounds. Meanwhile, Tom Stoltman opened with 850 pounds and completed it effortlessly.

In addition, Evan Singleton called for 875 pounds and lifted it quickly. Furthermore, Mathew Ragg followed, matching the 875-pound opener. Moreover, Hoath failed his second attempt at 875 pounds, while Evans and Tom Stoltman easily completed the lift. Also, Hoath tried 875 pounds again, but it didn’t budge. However, Evans closed out with a personal best of 905 pounds, hitting it to lockout. Lastly, Tom Stoltman attempted 905 pounds but waived it off.

Furthermore, Mitchell Hooper made a strong statement with a 925-pound opener. Moreover, Bobby Thompson, Hafthor Björnsson, and Singleton followed, all lifting 925 pounds. Additionally, Ragg matched the lift as well. However, Thompson’s second attempt at 950 pounds and Singleton’s attempt both failed. Lastly, Ragg gripped the barbell for his second attempt, locking out 950 pounds.

Finally, Hooper added 50 pounds for his second attempt, successfully lifting 975 pounds. Ultimately, Björnsson sealed the event with a dominant 1,010-pound lift, claiming the win in the Deadlift Ladder.
