This year’s division of 212 Bodybuilding was one of the most highly-anticipated events to take place during Olympia weekend. Names that emerged top of the tough division included seven-time winner Flex Lewis, Kamal Elgargni, and Derek Lunsford, who has since moved to the Men’s Open class.

In the final event, it came down to Shaun Clarida versus Keone Pearson. But whereas Clarida had the high bar with unprecedented muscle density and razor-sharp conditioning, Pearson countered with an impressive back width and detailing that floored those in attendance. The two went toe-to-toe at every pose, each searching for that one weakness. In the end, Keone Pearson took the gold for his second Olympia victory. Shaun Clarida and Angel Calderon Frias took second and third, respectively.

Below is the official 212 Olympia results:

As in previous years, Women’s Physique athletes displayed dry conditioning, muscle separation, and eye-catching V-tapers. Sarah Villegas was a clear favorite after winning her third title in 2023. Meanwhile, Natalia Abraham Coelho returned with a fresh look, determined to regain the title she lost.

In the finals, both Villegas and Coelho brought their best. Villegas impressed the judges with her mass and razor-sharp conditioning. Her hamstring definition, back thickness, and striated delts became key assets in her performance.

However, Coelho’s improvements were hard to ignore. Her front poses, showcasing enhanced arms and deep abdominal cuts, made her a formidable contender. The contest remained close, but Villegas’ overall presentation secured the victory. Coelho finished in second, with Sheronica Henton rounding out the top three.

The Wellness division continues to thrive. It emphasizes lower body development, symmetry, and proportions. These qualities make it one of the most popular categories in the IFBB Pro League. In 2023, Francielle Mattos made history by winning her third consecutive title. Her impressive physique set the standard for the division. Consequently, her competitors intensified their efforts to challenge her dominance.

Both Francielle Mattos and Isabelle Nunes showcased exceptional physiques in the finals. Nunes demonstrated significant improvements in leg density, especially in her front-facing poses. Meanwhile, Mattos’s symmetry and glute development presented a serious challenge. Thus, the competition was fierce. Ultimately, despite tight comparisons, Nunes managed to pull off one of the year’s biggest upsets.

The final results reflect the intense competition. Isabelle Nunes emerged as the winner, taking home $50,000. Francielle Mattos finished in second place, earning $20,000. Eduarda Bezerra secured third, receiving $12,000. The competition brought out some of the division’s best athletes. Although Harold Kelley entered as the clear favorite, Kevin Secundino and Karol Milewski pushed him hard. Both athletes have been steadily improving each season. Therefore, the contest was highly competitive from the start.

During prejudging, Kelley and Secundino, in particular, stood out. Secundino impressed with his mass and fullness, while Kelley maintained his signature size and conditioning. Milewski, meanwhile, posed a real threat with his upper body definition. Because of this, these key athletes kept the judges and audience engaged throughout the event.

In the end, Kelley’s overall conditioning earned him the title. Secundino’s improvements were enough for second place, while Milewski finished in third. Clearly, the event showed just how deep the talent pool is in the Wheelchair division this year.
