On the first day of 2024 Mr. Olympia, the Men’s Open and Classic Physique athletes held their official check-ins. This event offered fans a sneak peek at the talent they can expect to see on stage.
Now, all eyes are on the Men’s Open division. The prejudging will occur on the evening of October 11. Defending champion Derek Lunsford aims to retain his title. If successful, he would become the first two-division Mr. Olympia winner in history.
Meanwhile, former champion Hadi Choopan is determined to reclaim the Sandow trophy. He comes off victories at the 2024 Arnold Classic in Ohio and the UK. Additionally, Samson Dauda, who placed third at the 2023 Olympia, is a strong contender this year. His recent victory at the 2024 Tsunami Pro further solidifies his position in the competition.

Andrew Jacked has won the Texas Pro three times. Consequently, he now has a chance to become a Mr. Olympia champion. However, he must match his size with the proper conditioning to achieve this goal. Meanwhile, former Mr. Olympia Brandon Curry is also gearing up to compete for a second title. As a result, the competition promises to be fierce. This year’s Mr. Olympia lineup is chock-full of dark horses and rising stars ready to go toe to toe.
