The 2024 Official Strongman Games took place in Madison, Wisconsin, from December 6 to 8. The event featured the 2024 Masters World’s Strongest Woman (MWSW) competition, where athletes faced seven grueling challenges. These included the Log Lift, Car Walk, Deadlift, Carry & Push Medley, Sandbag Toss, Wrecking Ball Hold, and Atlas Stones. The competition brought together top strongwomen from around the world.
Ten athletes participated in the MWSW, representing four countries. Each competitor displayed remarkable strength, pushing their limits in every event. Yet, it was Naomi Hadley of the UK who stood out. With a total of 65 points, she claimed first place. Her performance was consistently dominant across all events.
A’emalemaloitiafau Wilson from New Zealand secured second place with 53 points. Despite her strong efforts, Wilson fell 12 points behind Hadley. However, Wilson’s performances, particularly in events like the Wrecking Ball Hold, were impressive. Still, it was not enough to close the gap to Hadley.
Ultimately, the competition highlighted Hadley’s commanding presence. She delivered standout results in key events, including the Log Lift and Atlas Stones. Wilson, while strong, could not match Hadley’s consistency. As a result, Hadley emerged as the 2024 Masters World’s Strongest Woman, solidifying her position at the top of the field.
Here are the results for each of the seven contested events at the 2024 Masters World’s Strongest Woman competition in Madison:

Additionally, Andrea Seed lifted two reps at 86 kilograms. Moreover, Kelly Jones also performed well, completing five reps at 75 kilograms. However, Michaela Pearson struggled and failed to complete any reps at 86 kilograms. As a result, Hadley and Seed stood out in this event.
Moreover, the Log Lift tested both strength and strategy. Athletes had to decide whether to lift heavier for fewer reps or go for more reps at a lighter weight. Ultimately, Hadley’s performance gave her an edge, but Seed’s consistency kept her close behind. Lastly, this event proved crucial for athletes aiming to climb the rankings.

Furthermore, Kelly Jones also performed well, completing it in 34.69 seconds. However, some athletes struggled, like Racheal Paveglio and Andrea Seed, who were limited to just 15 meters. Lastly, as a result, Hadley’s performance gave her a clear advantage.
Furthermore, the Car Walk was a pivotal event in the competition. Hadley’s fast time kept her ahead in the rankings. However, Wilson’s solid performance also maintained her position. In contrast, others who struggled with the course saw their chances of moving up diminish. Lastly, this event highlighted the need for speed and strength in the competition.
The Deadlift featured two weight options: 183 or 213 kilograms. Moreover, Naomi Hadley dominated, completing eight reps at 213 kilograms. Moreover, Andrea Seed followed closely, lifting seven reps at the same weight. Michaela Pearson lifted four reps at 213 kilograms. However, A’emalemaloitiafau Wilson managed only one rep, which limited her points. Lastly, as a result, Hadley secured a significant advantage.
Moreover, the Deadlift tested both strength and endurance. Furthermore, Hadley’s superior performance pushed her further ahead in the rankings. Meanwhile, Seed’s solid effort kept her competitive. Other athletes, like Kelly Jones, struggled, impacting their overall standings. Ultimately, Hadley’s performance in this event helped her maintain her lead.
The Carry & Push Medley required both speed and strength. Michaela Pearson completed it in 34.5 seconds, the fastest time. Moreover, Naomi Hadley followed closely with a time of 39.89 seconds. As a result, Pearson’s quick time helped her earn valuable points.
Furthermore, the Carry & Push Medley played a key role in the competition. Meanwhile, Pearson’s fast time helped her maintain a top position. Moreover, Hadley’s performance ensured she stayed competitive as well. Additionally, other athletes, like Paveglio, struggled, which hindered their chances to climb the rankings. Lastly, this event highlighted the importance of both agility and strength.
The Sandbag Toss required athletes to throw six sandbags over a four-meter bar. Naomi Hadley completed all six in 22.6 seconds, the fastest time. A’emalemaloitiafau Wilson followed, completing five sandbags in 30.79 seconds. Jocelyn Grimolfson also tossed five sandbags but took 39.17 seconds. Michaela Pearson completed five sandbags in 44.89 seconds. As a result, Hadley’s speed secured her a strong finish.
Moreover, the Sandbag Toss tested both speed and technique. Hadley’s quick time helped her further solidify her lead. Wilson’s solid performance kept her in contention for the top spot. Pearson’s strong effort maintained her position as well. However, athletes who struggled with the toss lost valuable time and points in this event.
The Wrecking Ball Hold required athletes to hold a 227-kilogram wrecking ball in a sumo position. Furthermore, A’emalemaloitiafau Wilson held the ball for 68.42 seconds, the longest time. Moreover, Racheal Paveglio followed with 64.25 seconds. Meanwhile, Jocelyn Grimolfson held the ball for 64 seconds as well. Notably, Naomi Hadley completed 63.91 seconds, just behind the leaders. Lastly, as a result, Wilson gained valuable points in this event.
Furthermore, the Wrecking Ball Hold tested endurance and strength. Wilson’s long hold helped her gain crucial points. Paveglio and Grimolfson also performed well, keeping them competitive. Hadley’s strong performance ensured she stayed near the top. For other athletes, holding the wrecking ball proved difficult, affecting their overall rankings.
