The 2024 Iron Games Pro unfolded in San Diego, CA, on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024. Altogether, 23 IFBB Pro League Bikini competitors participated in the event. Also, each athlete, however, aimed to secure victory and qualify for the 2025 Bikini Olympia. Currently, the Olympia’s date and location remain unconfirmed.
In first place, Lacy Rutland stood out with a remarkable performance. Furthermore, throughout the season, she showed steady improvement leading to this win. Ultimately, her victory secured her qualification for the 2025 Olympia. Now, she has the chance to compete on bodybuilding’s biggest stage.
Meanwhile, Wu Bi of China delivered an exceptional performance. However, despite her efforts, she came just one point short of victory. Nevertheless, her second-place finish reaffirmed her status as a strong contender. Notably, if she competes again soon, she could easily secure her Olympia spot.
In third place, Tara Grier completed the podium. Moreover, earlier this year, she had earned a win at the 2024 DC Pro, which made her a favorite at this event. Even so, she fell short of expectations in this competitive lineup. Looking ahead, she still has over a year to refine her strategy and earn her qualification.

Lacy Rutland delivered her best performance yet. After placing third at the 2024 Legion Sports Fest Pro on September 28, she showed remarkable improvement. Also, still, the competition remained tight, with just one point separating her from second place. Now, as a second-year pro, she has a chance to make her Olympia debut in 2025. Ultimately, her decision to compete will shape her future on bodybuilding’s biggest stage.
Additionally, Wu Bi narrowly missed the win but proved she remains a top contender. Previously, she tied for 16th at the 2024 Bikini Olympia on October 12 in Las Vegas. This time, she returned with renewed focus in her first attempt to requalify for the Olympia. Even though the contest was close, Bi showed potential to reclaim her Olympia spot. If she competes again before the year ends, she could secure a victory.
Tara Grier entered the show as a favorite after her win at the 2024 DC Pro. However, the judges placed her in third, unanimously agreeing on their decision. Furthermore, earlier this year, she competed at the 2024 Bikini Olympia but did not place in the top 15. Looking ahead, Grier still has over a year to qualify for the 2025 Olympia. In the meantime, each contest will test her resolve and readiness.
