The 2024 Hurricane Pro took place in St. Petersburg, FL, on Oct. 18-19, 2024. Furthermore, promoter Tim Gardner hosted the event, which featured four divisions of the IFBB Pro League. Also, each category offered a qualification for the 2025 Olympia. Consequently, anticipation ran high among the competitors.

In addition, Winners of each division secured their spots for the upcoming Olympia. However, this was contingent on not having qualified prior to the contest. Furthermore, this rule added extra intensity to the competition. Ultimately, the champions included Justin Badurina in Classic Physique, Mehdi Kabbadj in Men’s Physique, Jessica Reyes Padilla in Figure, and Adair Libbrecht in Bikini.

In Classic Physique, Badurina’s victory stood out. He showcased remarkable skill throughout the event. Meanwhile, Kabbadj made a successful comeback in Men’s Physique after a previous setback. However, he aimed to regain his footing, and he did so impressively. Lastly, Padilla proved her prowess in Figure, solidifying her status as a top contender.

Furthermore, Libbrecht’s triumph in Bikini was also significant. She impressed the judges with her flawless performance. Overall, the event highlighted the determination and talent of each competitor. Thus, the 2024 Hurricane Pro marked a crucial milestone in their journeys toward the Olympia.

Classic Physique

Justin Badurina has claimed victory in the Classic Physique division for the second time in Florida. Previously, he won the 2024 Tampa Pro in August. Moreover, on Oct. 12, 2024, he ranked 14th at the Classic Physique Olympia in Las Vegas.

Additionally, with this win, Badurina qualifies for the 2025 Olympia. Impressively, he secured this contest with a perfect score from the judges. Clearly, his performance highlights his consistent skill and dedication.

Men’s Physique

Mehdi Kabbadj recently faced a challenging 16th-place finish at the 2024 Men’s Physique Olympia. However, this show marked a significant turnaround for him. Now, Kabbadj can choose to take an extended offseason to prepare for the Olympia or continue competing to block others from qualifying.

Also, his win here reinvigorates his momentum in the competitive circuit. Furthermore, Kabbadj’s determination remains evident as he plans his next steps in the sport.

Jessica Reyes Padilla finished second to the now-retired Cydney Gillon at the 2024 Figure Olympia. Furthermore, as a result, she automatically qualifies for the 2025 Olympia. Therefore, no qualification was needed in the Figure division for this event.

Additionally, Padilla triumphed in the Masters competition at this show. Moreover, she currently holds the title of Masters Olympia champion, underscoring her impressive achievements in bodybuilding.

Adair Libbrecht did not place in the top 15 at the 2024 Bikini Olympia. Nonetheless, she bounced back to win the Bikini title here. Importantly, she achieved this victory with a perfect score, surpassing runner-up Karene Gonzalez and third-place finisher Ivi Escandar Fernandez.

In addition, Libbrecht’s win signifies her resilience and talent.  Notably, as she prepares for future competitions, her recent success will undoubtedly fuel her ambitions.
