The 2024 Classic Physique Olympia unfolded during Joe Weider’s Fitness and Performance Weekend from October 10-13 in Las Vegas, Nevada. On Saturday, October 12, competitors gathered at the Resorts World Theater at 7:00 p.m. In a memorable moment, Chris Bumstead secured his sixth consecutive title. This victory marked his final appearance on stage before retirement.

“This is going to be my last time up on this stage. The past eight years up here have been the most amazing of my life,” shared Bumstead. “It’s been the most beautiful journey beyond what I could ever ask for.”

During the finals, Bumstead looked sharper than ever. His chest and shoulder striations were unmatched among the competitors. However, he faced tough challenges from Urs Kalecinski and Mike Sommerfeld. Both athletes showcased their best physiques to date. Specifically, Kalecinski made significant improvements to his back, adding mass and detail. He also enhanced his arm symmetry, which complemented his lower body. Ultimately, Bumstead claimed a decisive victory. Mike Sommerfeld finished in second place, while Urs Kalecinski took third.
