The 2024 America’s Strongest Man (ASM) and 2024 America’s Strongest Woman (ASW) contests occurred in tandem on Oct. 11-12, 2024, in Las Vegas, NV. The 2024 ASM and ASW featured 10 strongmen and five strongwomen, respectively, competing through six events: Log Lift, Super Yoke, Shield Carry, Deadlift Ladder, Sandbag Toss, and Atlas Stones.
Lucas scored 49.5 of a possible 60 points to claim the overall gold, defending his title. The lone athlete not representing the USA, Olga Liashchuk of Ukraine, claimed 28.5 of a possible 30 points to stand atop the ASW podium. Below are the full results:

1. 2024 America’s Strongest Man Event Official Results
The 2024 America’s Strongest Man competition showcased intense athleticism across six demanding events. In the Log Lift, Lucas Hatton and Tim Buck both achieved impressive feats. They lifted six reps of 163 kilograms, tying for first place. Zach Price followed with five reps, demonstrating solid performance. Meanwhile, the Super Yoke event tested speed and strength. Hatton completed the 24-meter course in 17.59 seconds, narrowly beating Buck, who finished in 18.72 seconds. In the Shield Carry, Kevin Faires excelled, covering 47.47 meters, showcasing his endurance. The Deadlift Ladder proved challenging, but Hatton finished all four lifts in 24.63 seconds, further solidifying his lead. Lastly, the Atlas Stones highlighted Faires’ strength, as he completed five stones in 31.56 seconds, closely followed by Hatton at 31.66 seconds.
In the Log Lift event, athletes had one minute to lift a log weighing either 136 or 163 kilograms as many times as possible. Notably, Lucas Hatton and Tim Buck excelled, each achieving six reps at 163 kilograms. Consequently, they tied for first place. Following closely, Zach Price managed five reps at the same weight. Meanwhile, Kevin Faires, Brett Thompson, Trevor Ucker, Andrew Burton, and Justin Legere also performed well, lifting three to four reps at 163 kilograms. However, Josh Hatfield could only manage two reps, while Levi Strong lifted three reps at 136 kilograms.
In the Shield Carry event, athletes had to carry 193 kilograms for distance. Once again, Kevin Faires dominated with a distance of 47.47 meters. Additionally, Zach Price followed closely at 47.04 meters, while Trevor Ucker completed 47.02 meters. Tim Buck managed 45.36 meters, and Levi Strong covered 41.76 meters. Moreover, other competitors, including Andrew Burton, Justin Legere, Lucas Hatton, Brett Thompson, and Josh Hatfield, recorded distances ranging from 25.35 to 40.26 meters.
The Deadlift Ladder required strongmen to complete four deadlifts, with weights ranging from 315 to 388 kilograms, as quickly as possible. Impressively, Lucas Hatton shone with a time of 24.63 seconds for four lifts. Meanwhile, Josh Hatfield impressed with three lifts in just 16.76 seconds. Furthermore, Tim Buck and Justin Legere also managed three lifts in 20.01 and 22.25 seconds, respectively. Additionally, Andrew Burton and Kevin Faires recorded three lifts in under 24 seconds, showcasing their strength and speed.
In the Sandbag Toss event, athletes had 60 seconds to toss five bags weighing between 20 and 25 kilograms over a 5.18-meter bar. Andrew Burton excelled, tossing all five bags in 27.44 seconds. In contrast, Josh Hatfield followed closely, completing four tosses in 18.56 seconds. Likewise, Lucas Hatton also completed four in 21.63 seconds. Other competitors, including Levi Strong and Brett Thompson, recorded times ranging from 33.84 to 41 seconds, demonstrating the challenges of this event.
Finally, the Atlas Stones involved lifting five stones weighing between 147 and 193 kilograms. Kevin Faires showcased his strength, completing all five stones in 31.56 seconds. Moreover, Lucas Hatton finished in 31.66 seconds. Additionally, Tim Buck also performed well, finishing in 32.91 seconds. Furthermore, Josh Hatfield, Trevor Ucker, Justin Legere, Andrew Burton, Zach Price, Brett Thompson, and Levi Strong completed their lifts in times ranging from 23.86 seconds to 49.42 seconds, adding to the overall excitement of the competition.
In the Log Lift event, athletes had one minute to lift a log weighing either 84 or 102 kilograms as many times as possible. Olga Liashchuk and Nadia Stowers both excelled, each completing five reps at 102 kilograms, resulting in a tie for first place. Meanwhile, Erin Murray managed to lift one rep at the same weight. Additionally, Leilani Brown and Rebekah Strong both lifted three reps at 84 kilograms, placing them tied for fourth.
Next, in the Super Yoke event, each athlete traversed 24 meters with a 272-kilogram yoke within a 60-second time cap. Olga Liashchuk led the pack with a remarkable time of 16.53 seconds. Following her, Nadia Stowers and Erin Murray completed the distance in 22.35 and 22.9 seconds, respectively. In contrast, Leilani Brown and Rebekah Strong finished in 25.78 and 28.04 seconds, respectively, showcasing their strength and endurance.
In the Shield Carry, each strongwoman carried 136 kilograms for distance. Olga Liashchuk again stood out, covering 38.33 meters. Erin Murray followed with a distance of 33.91 meters. Additionally, Leilani Brown managed 30.84 meters, while Nadia Stowers and Rebekah Strong recorded 27.43 and 26.26 meters, respectively.
The Deadlift Ladder required athletes to lift four barbells weighing between 197 and 247 kilograms as quickly as possible. Nadia Stowers performed exceptionally, completing all four lifts in just 17.03 seconds. Meanwhile, Olga Liashchuk finished her four lifts in 26.2 seconds. Furthermore, Erin Murray managed three lifts in 34.11 seconds, while Leilani Brown and Rebekah Strong completed two lifts in 23.22 and 28 seconds, respectively.
In the Sandbag Toss event, each strongwoman had to toss five bags weighing between 10 and 15 kilograms over a 5.18-meter bar. Olga Liashchuk excelled once again, tossing all five bags in 59.11 seconds. Nadia Stowers followed, completing four tosses in 49.47 seconds. Additionally, Erin Murray managed three tosses in 20.71 seconds, while Leilani Brown completed three in 34.5 seconds. Unfortunately, Rebekah Strong managed just one toss in 9.59 seconds.
Finally, in the Atlas Stones event, the five stones weighed between 102 and 147 kilograms. Olga Liashchuk demonstrated her strength again, lifting four stones in 28.84 seconds. Leilani Brown followed closely, also lifting four stones in 29.72 seconds. Meanwhile, Nadia Stowers completed four stones in 35.11 seconds, while Rebekah Strong managed to lift three stones in 30.53 seconds, contributing to an exciting conclusion to the competition.
