Men’s Physique and Women’s Physique competitors vied for the top spot at the 2023 1st Phorm St. Louis Pro, held on May 6 in St. Louis. The competition served as a qualifying event for the prestigious Mr. Olympia contest, which will take place in Orlando, Florida in November.
2023 Mr. Olympia Contest: Qualification Rules and Deadlines
The 2023 Mr. Olympia contest is set to take place from November 2-5 in Orlando, Florida. Aspiring participants have until October 9 to qualify for the event. However, unlike in previous years, athletes can no longer qualify through a points system. Instead, they must win a professional competition to secure their spot at the Olympia.
Limited Opportunities for Athletes to Qualify for Mr. Olympia
With less time to qualify than in 2022, athletes have fewer opportunities to guarantee their passage to the Mr. Olympia contest. As a result, the St. Louis Pro contest was highly competitive and drew top contenders from both the Men’s and Women’s Physique categories.

Colosseum Strength, a strength training and bodybuilding media, congratulates the winners of the 2023 1st Phorm St. Louis Pro competition.
The event, which took place on May 6, featured athletes competing in the Men’s Physique and Women’s Physique categories. It was also a qualifier for the 2023 Mr. Olympia contest, which will be held in Orlando, Florida in November.
After an intense competition, Benquil Marigny emerged as the Men’s Physique champion, while Pamela Canfield earned the gold in the Women’s Physique category. Both athletes put in an impressive performance, showcasing their hard work and dedication to their craft.
