Gyeonggi State, Korea hosted the 2023 Korea AGP Pro over the weekend on May 6. This competition was one of the qualifying events for the prestigious Mr. Olympia competition, set to take place later this year. Competitors in the Classic Physique category took the stage to showcase their hard work and dedication.
Mr. Olympia Qualification and Invitations
The 2023 Mr. Olympia competition is scheduled to take place on November 2-5 in Orlando, Florida. To earn an invitation to the event, competitors have until October 9 to showcase their skills and abilities in various qualifying events throughout the year. However, for divisions outside of the Men’s Open category, the top three finishers at the 2022 Olympia are automatically invited to compete in this year’s edition of the competition.
Chance to Compete Against Chris Bumstead
The winner of the 2023 Korea AGP Pro competition in the Classic Physique category will earn the opportunity to compete against four-time Classic Physique Olympia winner, Chris Bumstead. Bumstead has continued to improve each year, making him a formidable opponent for any athlete hoping to claim the top spot. With a cash prize and coveted gold medal on the line, all eyes were on the competitors as they battled it out for the title.
Andrei Kozhokar Claims Victory
After an intense competition, it was Andrei Kozhokar who emerged victorious at the 2023 Korea AGP Pro. Kozhokar’s hard work and dedication paid off as he claimed the top spot in the Classic Physique category. With his win, he earned an invitation to compete at the 2023 Mr. Olympia competition and the chance to take on the best in the world.
