To secure a coveted spot in the illustrious Mr. Olympia competition, the pinnacle event of the year, competitors must meet the qualification criteria by Oct. 9. This year, they face a more challenging journey with limited time and opportunities to qualify, making the pursuit of the ultimate stage more demanding than ever before. Notably, last year’s Chicago Pro champion, Antoine Vaillant, has decided not to compete, setting the stage for a new champion to be crowned in the Open class.

Matthew Greggo had already enjoyed a busy season, securing a respectable fourth-place finish at the 2023 Lenda Murray Atlanta Pro just last weekend. On the other hand, Marcus Perry last graced the stage at the 2022 Olympia contest, though without placing.

During the prejudging rounds, Amy Li and Danai Theodoropoulou stood out with their round, shapely, and symmetrical physiques, making the judges’ decisions tough as they went into the finals.
Amy Li’s last appearance on stage was at the 2022 Shawn Ray Hawaiian Classic Pro, where she secured a respectable 10th place. Her formidable opponent, Danai Theodoropoulou, entered the competition with great momentum, having achieved an impressive second place at the 2022 EVLS Prague Pro.
