πŸ† 14-Year-Old Bubba Pritchett Deadlifts 275 Kilograms (600 Pounds) – Rising as a Strongman

Bubba Pritchett proved legendary powerlifting isn’t accidentalβ€”his 600-pound deadlift echoed the strength passed down from his father.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Fourteen-year-old Bubba Pritchett, son of strongman veteran Jerry Pritchett, recently completed a massive 275-kilogram 600 pounds deadlift in training. Importantly, he posted a video on July 1, 2025, captioned β€œWorld’s Strongest Teenager??” Immediately, viewers saw Bubba start with a sumo stance before switching to a conventional pull.

Moreover, Bubba hitched the bar multiple times after it passed his knees. Nevertheless, he completed the lockout and held the barbell for several seconds before lowering it. Notably, hitching is legal in strongman contests, so the lift would almost certainly pass in a professional setting. Pulling 600 pounds at his age is rare and remarkable.

Meanwhile, his father Jerry once tied the deadlift world record with 465 kilograms (1,025 pounds) at the 2016 World Deadlift Championships. Subsequently, Eddie Hall broke that record with a 500-kilogram lift in the same contest. Then, Hafthor BjΓΆrnsson set the heaviest verified lift ever with 501 kilograms in 2020 at a CoreSports event.

Hafthor BjΓΆrnsson pulled 501 kilograms in 2020 in a CoreSports event, which is considered the heaviest verified lift ever.”**

Jerry Pritchett’s career has been distinguished by his exceptional deadlift prowess. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Notably, he tied the deadlift world record in 2016 with 465 kilograms. Furthermore, he has been a consistent force in strongman competitions globally, known for his raw strength and competitive spirit. Jerry’s experience has clearly influenced Bubba’s early progress.

Additionally, Eddie Hall and Hafthor BjΓΆrnsson pushed the deadlift record higher, setting historic marks that define modern strongman strength. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Eddie Hall’s 500-kilogram lift and Hafthor’s 501-kilogram pull remain benchmarks. However, Jerry’s legacy and Bubba’s rapid ascent show the next generation is ready to compete at elite levels soon.

Therefore, Bubba’s 275-kilogram deadlift is not just impressive for his age but sets a foundation for future success. As Bubba develops, he will likely approach the high standards set by his father and other legends. His continued progress will be fascinating to watch for strength sports fans.

**β€œThere is no known established teenage world record for the strongman version of the deadlift, but the younger Pritchett’s mammoth lift would be in the running if it were. This most recent lift is a 25-pound improvement from the 575-pound pull he posted on the same account in January 2025.

According to Open Powerlifting, Danny Saelam Barrett’s 270-kilogram deadlift in the Teen 13-15 category at the 2017 GPC-AUS QLD States is the all-time world record. However, that was performed in a sanctioned powerlifting meet where hitching is prohibited.”**

  • πŸ† 14-Year-Old Bubba Pritchett Deadlift 275 Kilograms (600 Pounds) – Rising as a Strongman

Overview

Recently, 14-year-old Bubba Pritchett deadlifted 600 Pounds, showing impressive strength for his age. Importantly, he used his father Jerry’s techniques and training knowledge. Furthermore, this lift is 25 pounds heavier than his previous best earlier this year. Meanwhile, Jerry Pritchett once tied the deadlift world record, highlighting the family legacy. However, Bubba’s lift is unique because hitching is allowed in strongman, unlike in powerlifting records. Therefore, his feat could be considered a teenage strongman deadlift record. Going forward, Bubba’s progress could shake up the strength sport world.
